Making his third start at Evangeline Downs on May 9, the three-year-old Range Goat went gate to wire as the favorite to win by 10 1/2 lengths, earning a 90 Beyer Speed Figure. Range Goat made his debut at Delta Downs on Feb. 14, finishing second, and prior to his maiden-breaking win picked up black-type when third in Evangeline’s Lafayette S. on Apr. 4. Range Goat is nominated to the G3 Maxfield S. at Churchill Downs on June 28.
