VanMeter Sales Two-For-Two at Fasig July

VanMeter Sales got the 2026 yearling sale season off to a sparkling start on July 14 at Fasig-Tipton’s July Sale, selling two fillies for a 100% clearance rate.

Hip 62, a daughter of Cairo Prince out of the Upstart mare Gratz Park, went the way of Taproot Bloodstock as agent for $65,000.

Hip 122, a filly by Blame out of Mother Freedom, by West Coast, was bought by Colt Pike, agent for Highlander, for $200,000.

The sale continues a successful July Sale run for VanMeter Sales, who sold the subsequent stakes-winning filly Celtic Dispute there in 2025.

VanMeter Sales will be represented next at Fasig-Tipton’s Saratoga Select Sale, and Keeneland September.
