89% Clearance Rate for VanMeter Sales at KEESEP

VanMeter Sales concluded the 2026 Keeneland September Yearling Sale with an 89% clearance rate, selling 17 of 19 yearlings sent through the ring.

The VanMeter Sales consignment included four yearlings that made $250,000-plus:

Hip 1960, a colt by Good Magic out of Passionof the Nile, offered on behalf of breeder WinStar Farm and purchased by Donegal Racing II and West Paces Racing for $325,000.

Hip 1592, an Oscar Performance colt out of Signify, offered on behalf of breeder WinStar Farm and bought by Klaravich Stable for $300,000.

Hip 3466, a Vekoma colt out of Don’t Charge It picked up by Pin Oak Stud for $260,000 to top Book 5A.

Hip 946, an Elite Power colt out of C.S. Royce purchased by The Guthrie Family Trust for $250,000.
