FIVE OF SIX SOLD FOR VANMETER SALES AT THE JULY SALE

   VanMeter Sales came out strong in its yearling sale debut, selling five of six offered during
The July Sale at Fasig Tipton's Newtown Paddocks.

   The top price of the boutique consignment was $185,000 paid by Colt Pike for a Girvin filly out of Fact Of Life (The Factor). Trainer Ken McPeek took home the other six-figure yearling in the consignment, a Volatile colt from a strong Phipps family, for $120,000.

   The other sales for the VanMeter consignment were a Leinster filly for $90,000; a Mo Donegal colt for $65,000 and a Twirling Candy colt for $50,000.
